SAVE the DATE: USARA Presents HEROES IN RECOVERY at the UTAH PRIDE PARADE – Sunday June 8th!

JOIN YOUR FELLOWS IN RECOVERY BY SPREADING THE WORD OF RECOVERY AND LOVE!

USARA is proud to be participating in the “Love Equals Love.” The Utah Pride Festival Parade  from 8:00am to 1:00pm on June 8, 2014, held at Washington and Library Squares in downtown Salt Lake City.

USARA would like to invite people in recovery and family members, friends, allies and organizations who support recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. The day is hosted by a collaboration of volunteers and organizations who contribute to the sponsorship of activities that are free to the public.

The parade is a grand opportunity to show support for the gay community but also that recovery is possible and does exist. This is a family oriented float, with a fun new theme. This year we will be doing “Heroes in Recovery” and we encourage everyone to dress up as your favorite super hero.

Note: There is no fee to participate in the parade on the USARA float, however we ask that everyone come willing to be respectful and representing of the recovery community.
