NOW HIRING: Telephone Recovery Support Program Manager

USARA is Utah’s award-winning Recovery Community Organization. Our mission is to celebrate, advocate, support, and educate on behalf of drug and/or alcohol addiction recovery and Utah’s recovery community.

Job details:

• Part time: 25 hours per week from January- April 2016
• Full time: 40 hours per week starting in May and ongoing
• Starting Rate: $16.00 per hour
• Hire date: January 4th, 2016

PROGRAM SUMMARY:

In 2016, USARA will launch an innovative statewide peer support program called Telephone Recovery Support (TRS), and we are in need of a dynamic and well-experienced Program Manager to run this program.

TRS offers weekly telephone calls to people in recovery to “check in” and see how they’re doing.  Recoverees are given support and encouragement as well as information about community resources, all recovery, 12-step meetings or other supports that may help them maintain their recovery.  TRS helps reduce relapse and enhances the recovery experience for recoverees as well as the volunteer making the calls. Calls are made by trained USARA volunteers that are, in many instances, in recovery themselves.  TRS calls take place at USARA’s Recovery Community Center in Salt Lake County.  However, anyone seeking recovery support throughout Utah can sign up to receive a support call.

JOB SUMMARY:

The TRS Program Manager will oversee the implementation of TRS at our Recovery Community Center in Salt Lake City, set up community partnerships and collaborations throughout the state, supervise and support TRS volunteers, host volunteer trainings, track data, and report to USARA staff on outcomes and measurable.

 REQUIREMENTS:

• The Program Manager MUST have 5 consecutive years in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction
• The Program Manager must be able to work at our community center in SLC between the hours of 9AM and 5 PM (hours are flexible for part time shift)
• The Program Manager must have experience with program management and tracking outcomes and measurables
