Join us for Recovery Day in Utah County on September 7th, 3-9:30 p.m. at the Historic Courthouse on the corner of University Ave and Center. St. in Provo).
Everyone knows someone that struggles with addiction. Unfortunately it has become common place in our society. Now is the time to Erase addiction and Replace it with something of greater value.
Payson, Utah has the second most overdose deaths in Utah County. Because of this, Addict II Athlete chose Payson, Utah to host our second annual run to help bring awareness and change to this city struck with so much tragedy.
This run is dedicated to those who still suffer, those who have lost their lives, and those affected by addiction. We ask you to join us in this cause. Runners may choose to run as proxy for someone they know who struggle with addiction, they themselves have struggled, or for someone whom lost the fight with addiction.
When you register you will be able to purchase race shirts and wrist bands to wear during our run. Red will be if you are running for someone who struggles with addiction, White for someone who is in recovery, and Black for someone who has lost their lives to addiction.
Following the race we will have a Pancake Brenner (breakfast/dinner). You will be able to purchase pancake tickets during registration. We will be having a SILENT AUCTION to raise money for those in recovery. Please bring your pocket book on race day to get some fabulous prizes and help a great cause. Donations are also gladly accepted.
We will begin and end our run at South County Lanes 22 W 900 N, Payson, UT 84651
