Special Guest Speaker: Stephen A. Wright, MPC and Director of Public Affairs, R&R Partners
Parents Empowered is Utah’s statewide prevention campaign with the goal of empowering parents to eliminate underage drinking.

Date: September 13th, 2013
Location: Ogden Eccles Dinosaur Park
1544 Park Blvd., Ogden UT. 84401
Time: Registration 8:00 – 8:30 PM
Run begins at 8:45 PM
Theme: 5K Fun Run
Glow in the Dark (deck yourself out in glow items to ensure you glow on the course)
Dress as your favorite Flintstone or Caveman/Cavewoman (Costume Contest)
Race bags: All 5K registered participants will receive a race bag filled with a variety of running supplies as well as a glow in the dark prevention t-shirt!
Entry Fees: $20.00 for pre-registered runners before August 30, 2013 (runners will be guaranteed a T-shirt) $25.00 for late registration.
Group Rates: Groups of 5 or more receive $3.00 off of every person; Groups of 10 or more receive $5.00 off of every person

Poker Run

Date: Saturday, September 14, 2013
Location: Ogden Amphitheater (343 25th Street Ogden, UT)
Start Time: Kickstands up at 8:30 a.m.
Donation: A $20 donation is suggested to participate. A t-shirt and a poker hand will be given to those who donate, otherwise the ride is free.
Prizes: There will be prizes for the best hand, worst hand, as well as an optional $5 “Bug on a Windshield” contest!

Ending Time: 3:00 p.m.

All proceeds go toward prevention services in the community and and treatment scholarships for women.
