Recovery Support
USARA’s Addiction Recovery Management for Families program (ARM) provides FREE recovery management planning for persons with a history of drug and alcohol addiction and their family members.
Individual Support
The primary goals of ARM are to reduce barriers impacting recovery; to improve family relationships and social supports; and to increase job readiness by connecting individuals to employment resources. Participants will develop skills to enhance financial responsibility and recovery skills.
Family Support
For Family members, ARM will utilize the Community Reinforcement Approach and Family Training (CRAFT) model. CRAFT is a comprehensive behavioral approach and evidence based practice for treating addiction and supporting family.
Life Skills Training
ARM participants will attend a minimum of two life skills classes while in the program, and may attend more as appropriate or desired. USARA will provide a variety of life skills classes such as employer message training, application and resumé writing, and how to interview as a returning citizen (ex-offender).There are opportunities to engage in learning skills such as grounding techniques, meditation practices, and relapse prevention strategies.
Recovery Resources
ARM may provide participants with limited financial assistance for qualified recovery services based upon need. The primary purpose of a monetary recovery support is to improve recovery engagement and is attached to recovery goals as defined in the recovery management plan.
