Join us for the
Premier Screening of
Memo to Self:
Protecting Sobriety”

The Children’s Friend Foundation and Utah Support Advocates for Recovery Awareness (USARA) invite you to attend a FREE premier screening of the groundbreaking film, Memo to SelfProtecting Sobriety with the Science of Safety.  There will be a Q & A with Dr. Kevin McCauley following the film screening.

Dr. Kevin McCauley relives his intensely personal journey of addiction and recovery. He describes how he calls upon his training as a naval flight surgeon to craft protective practices that keep him safe while his choice-impaired brain continues to heal. No longer do recovering addicts have to rely solely upon their wishes and hopes as they practice daily sobriety. Rather, Memo to Self gives everyone access to the same process health care professionals and pilots are taught to proactively protect their recovery.

The first film in this series, Pleasure Unwoven, has won industry awards, is being used in clinics and treatment centers, and thousands of copies are in active use. By sponsoring this premiere, you will associate yourself with a film that will bring groundbreaking ideas and practices to the treatment of recovering addicts.  Protecting sobriety with the science of safety will be the preferred methodology of the future, and you have the opportunity to be one of the first to support and foster the dissemination of this life-affirming system.
